GARAGE SHELVING
What kind of warranty do the shelves have?
We have a lifetime warranty on all of our products.
What material is the shelving system made of?
Our Shelving Systems are constructed of powder-coated, industrial-grade steel.
What additions can be made to the shelving?
Our shelving is designed to be compatible with a variety of additions. We provide several shelving additions that include garage shelving accessories, hooks and bars. For more information, check out the options on the Gorgeous Garage website.
What is the weight capacity of shelving?
For every four-foot section, our shelving can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
GARAGE CABINETS
How long will these cabinets last?
These cabinets are designed to last for decades. We back up our Signature line cabinets with an optional lifetime warranty and our Classic line cabinets with an optional 7 year warranty.
What are the garage cabinets made of?
The garage cabinets are made from 3/4″ – 1″ thick thermal fused laminate. They are constructed with durable wooden dowels and screws. Melamine can come in a variety of colors, designs, and wood grain patterns. Our cabinets are moisture-resistant and won’t rot or warp.
Why are the garage cabinets mounted up off the floor?
Having the garage cabinets mounted up off the floor prevents water damage. It also makes cleaning easier.
Do you provide custom sizes or dimensions for cabinetry?
To best fit your storage needs, we provide a wide range of sizes and configuration of cabinets.
OVERHEAD RACKS
What types of overhead racks are there?
We carry two types of overhead racks; stationay and motorized.
How much weight do the overhead racks hold?
The overhead racks can hold 1,000 lbs when one side is mounted to a wall. When hung from the ceiling, each 4” x 8” unit is strong enough to hold 750 lbs. Motorized overhead racks can hold 350 lbs.
What items are best stored on overhead racks?
Items that are used less frequently such as bulky equipment and storage bins are best stored on overhead racks.
What are the differences between motorized overhead racks and normal racks?
Motorized racks will move up and down by the control of an app installed on your phone. Normal racks can hold more weight and are usually accessed by a ladder.
How do the motorized overhead racks work?
Motorized racks use a pulley-like system to raise and lower your stored items for easy access and are controlled by an app on your phone.
What are the overhead storage racks made out of?
The overhead racks are made of powder-coated, industrial-grade steel frames to ensure the safety of each and every unit.
GARAGE FLOORING
Do you offer a warranty on flooring?
There is a lifetime warranty on our flooring along with all of our other products we install.
How long does a floor installation take?
Tiles can be installed in a few hours, while a floor coating installation can be ready for use in just 1-2 days.
Does everything have to be out of the garage during the floor installation?
Yes, everything will have to be out of the garage during the garage floor installation process.
What is the difference between epoxy coatings and polyurea coatings?
Epoxy coatings protect the concrete flooring of your garage. Our epoxy coatings are extremely durable, but can fade and yellow over time if direct sunlight is applied. Our polyurea coatings are much more durable and long-lasting than any epoxy. The coating type is resistant to damage from chemicals and UV rays, so it won’t yellow or fade over time. Our Polyurea coatings are also more environmentally friendly.
When can I start using my new floor?
You can start using your new floor after 1-2 days.
Is the floor covering slippery?
The floor epoxy and polyurea coatings can be slippery when wet because they are impervious to liquids. A full layer of chips adds texture to help with prevent slipperiness. A special anti-slip product can be added to the topcoat for an additional charge if desired. For tiles, we combine just the right mix of plastic and rubber compounds so it’s not slippery when wet.
How do I clean my new floor?
A hose can be used to simply wash out dirt or other debris. A power wash and/or mop are also highly effective to cleaning your garage floor. Our coatings are impervious to liquids so oil and chemicals can be wiped up without staining the floor.
Are the resins used harmful to me or the environment?
No, our products have a high solids content which is not harmful to you or the enviornment. Having a high solids content means fewer solvents and less VOC’s emitted that evaporate into the air.
Does the floor scratch?
Nope! Our floor coatings are highly resistant to damage so they won’t scratch.
Does the flooring leave a smell?
No, it does not leave a smell.
PROCESS: FROM START TO FINISH
What happens when I fill out a Contact Form?
One of our team members will contact you as soon as possible, usually through a phone call, using your contact information in the Contact Form. If we don’t reach you on the first attempt, we usually try a couple more times. If we can’t reach you then, we won’t continue to spam you with missed calls.
How long does the in-home consultations take?
Most consultations take about 30 minutes.
Do I get the estimate during the consultation?
We will give you an idea of what to expect during the consultation. You will receive a more detailed estimate and a 3D model of your finished garage in an email. This usally happens within 24 hours once our consultant has a chance to input the information.
How long is a typical installation?
It depends on the extent of the installation. It can take anywhere from ½ a day to a full week.

Gorgeous Garage provides the nation with high-quality garage storage and organization products. As an authorized Gorgeous Garage dealer, we are the exclusive carrier of these products in the Western Slope area. Our team is trained to properly install these garage storage products. Do you charge for in-home consultations or estimates?
All our in-home consultations and estimates are free.
Do you have a showroom or storefront I can visit?
No, we do not have a showroom or storefront.
Can I install Gorgeous Garage products myself?
We want to make sure everything is perfect and you have zero problems with the products in the future, so we have our professionals install these products in-person.
Do you operate on the weekend for estimates or installations?
When needed, we can work Saturdays.
Are you an accredited and insured company?
Yes, we are an accredited and insured company.
MISCELLANEOUS
Does the price of the product include installation?
All of our estimates include the price of installation.
Will the consultant give me a design, or do I tell him/her what I want?
Helping your vision become a reality is our ultimate goal. We meet with you before any decisions are made because we want to understand exactly what your storage needs are before we propose any solutions. After you have all the information, our storage consultant will measure your space and talk with you about your budget. Depending on what your objectives are, we’ll work with you to design a solution.
Do I move my stuff out of the garage? Or do you move it out for me?
We can definitely help with moving and organizing your garage for you before, during, and after installation.
Does it matter if I get flooring or storage first?
No. The order doesn’t matter if you decide to do one project separate from the other.
